Walking In The Mall

Viewable in 2D, 3D and 360° virtual reality.

Look at the skyscrapers in this scene from the viewpoint of the average dummy standing on the ground!
It’s too hot to hike on the trails today, so my plan was to go walk in the mall.

This 360 3D VR scene was created in Blender.
The 3D live-action video was recorded with a Sony TD30 3D camcorder.
Compositing was done with Sony Movie Studio Platinum 13.

Not A Morning Person

Viewable in 2D, 3D and 360° virtual reality.

The extended weather forecast for the month of October in West Covina, California looks like a hot one, so although I’m not a morning person, starting tomorrow I’ll be taking Janice’s advice by getting up early and getting out of the house.

Terrible TV Reception

Viewable in 2D, 3D and 360° virtual reality.

Since we don’t have (and don’t want) cable TV, we’ve been using this antenna, which works fine for all but a few of the basic channels.
I just ordered this VHF retrofit kit with hopes it will help with the terrible reception we get with a few channels, and maybe it will also pick up a few more channels.

Coffee Beans

Viewable in 2D, 3D and 360° virtual reality.

Here’s the coffee beans we’ve been buying at Costco, and I am one very satisfied customer!

This is my first stereoscopic 3D VR video created with my new technique of applying the floating window and barrel distortion to the live-action composite in the final over/under VR project, using Sony Movie Studio Platinum 13.
The room was created in Blender.
